为了在新冠肺炎疫情防控期间降低地铁客流密度，3月6日起北京将在天通苑站和沙河站试点预约进站。北京地铁表示，预约制度旨在缩短乘客等待时间，提升出行体验。
Tiantongyuan and Shahe subway stations in Beijing will begin piloting a reservation system on Friday to avoid the congregation of passengers amid the coronavirus outbreak. The reservation system is aimed at reducing the wait time for passengers and providing them with a better riding experience, according to Beijing Subway.
据北京地铁介绍，随着北京市各单位逐步复工复产，客流潜在增长压力巨大。5号线天通苑站、昌平线沙河站等大客流车站，工作日早高峰期间经常出现乘客在短时间内密集到达的情况。据介绍，本次试点依托北京交通发展研究院的大数据仿真模型，按照地铁运营能力和车厢满载率的控制要求，通过数据计算，对早高峰进站客流量进行分配。工作日6:30至9：30早高峰时段，乘客可通过智能手机预约天通苑站和沙河站的进站时段（10分钟）。预约成功后，乘客可在预约时段及前后10分钟（30分钟的窗口期）内扫二维码从预约通道快速进站。
