北京理工大学的一个团队和天津的一家无人机公司开发出了无人机疫情预警监控系统，为新型冠状病毒肺炎疫情监控和预警提供了一种有效方式。这套系统主要由无人机平台、喊话系统和地面控制及图像处理平台组成。
A drone-based early warning and monitoring system has been used to help control the novel coronavirus and offer early warnings. Developed by a team from the Beijing Institute of Technology and a drone company in Tianjin, the system is mainly composed of drones, broadcasting tools, ground control and an image processing platform.
为了在疫情防控中及时预警、发现发热人员，北京理工雷科信息技术有限公司将自主研发的智能目标检测、多传感器智能融合分析、智能图像深度学习、图像智能大数据分析等关键技术，与奥瑞思智能科技（天津）有限公司的多旋翼长航时无人机平台技术相结合，开发出了智能无人机疫情预警监控系统。这套系统能够自动监控广场、公路、小区等各类环境中的人群，监测人员聚集情况。该系统可利用红外热成像技术实时获取人员体温情况，在非接触情况下实现对疑似高危人员的快速区分。同时，通过喊话系统告知群众在疫情期间的防范措施，随时疏导或制止异常行为。智能无人机疫情预警监控系统从2月1日起在辽宁省阜新市疫情预警监控中应用，截至目前已成功发现多例体温偏高人员并协助处置。
