由中国法学会组织撰写的《中国法治建设年度报告（2018）》于11月14日正式发布。报告指出，全面依法治国得到有力推进，多个领域法治建设成果显著。
Law-based governance has been further promoted in China with notable progress made in various areas, according to a report made public Thursday. The 2018 annual report on China's rule of law was released by the China Law Society.
《中国法治建设年度报告（2018）》指出，在立法方面，十三届全国人大一次会议表决通过宪法修正案，宪法实施和监督工作进一步加强；同时，一批涉及高质量发展、保障和改善民生的重要法律法规陆续出台。在法治政府建设推进方面，国务院及地方政府机构改革顺利实施，“放管服”改革力度加大，依法行政各项工作取得了新的成效。
2018年，政法领域改革进入系统性、整体性变革的新阶段，改革的广度、深度和力度不断拓展；审判、检察、公安和司法行政工作取得新成就，保障社会各方面工作有序发展；人权法治化保障取得新的进展。
2018年，我国深入实施国家知识产权战略，推进知识产权管理体制改革，知识产权保护各项工作取得积极进展；完善生态文明法治建设顶层设计，深化生态文明体制改革，生态文明立法、执法、司法工作取得新的显著成效。
