10月29日，国务院发布批复，原则同意《长三角生态绿色一体化发展示范区总体方案》。
The State Council on Tuesday approved a plan for building a demonstration area in the Yangtze River Delta on ecologically friendly development.
国务院网站上发布的批复函指出，要更加努力地实现绿色经济、高品质生活、可持续发展有机统一，走出一条跨行政区域共建共享、生态文明与经济社会发展相得益彰的新路径。
More efforts should be made to integrate the green economy, high-quality life and sustainable growth, and blaze a new path of cross-administrative cooperation and sharing so that ecological progress and economic and social development complement each other, according to a statement on the government website.
2019年7月，《长江三角洲区域一体化发展规划纲要》发布。《纲要》专章提出要“高水平建设长三角生态绿色一体化发展示范区”，探索将生态优势转化为经济社会发展优势、从项目协同走向区域一体化的制度创新，为整个长三角生态绿色一体化发展提供探索路径和示范。国务院此次批文指出，《长三角生态绿色一体化发展示范区总体方案》实施要以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，全面贯彻党的十九大和十九届二中、三中全会精神，坚持稳中求进工作总基调，坚持新发展理念，坚持推动高质量发展，坚持以供给侧结构性改革为主线，坚持深化市场化改革、扩大高水平开放，发挥中央和地方两个积极性。
