01. Motto
大家最常听到的关于付出和收获的格言应该是：
- No pain no gain.一分耕耘，一分收获。
今天和大家分享两句和“reap”（收获）有关的：
- Reap the benefits of your labor. 不劳无获。
- You reap what you sow. 善有善报，恶有恶报。
在歌词中我们也能常常听到类似的格言：
- You only get what you give
- The love you take is equal to the love you make.
这些格言都在说付出和收获的相关性，It's all about give and take 。
02. 付出
首先最简单的说法是：
- Put in something: 付出...
- Put in hard work: 付出努力
- Put in your blood, sweat, and tears: 付出心血
有时候想要收获，就要付出所有：
- Give it your all: 用尽全力
除此之外，还有三组比较formal的说法：
- Apply yourself
- Dedicate yourself
- Commit yourself
“Apply”不能用在relationship中，一般用于学习工作：
- You need to apply yourself. 你需要努力。
“Dedicate”则可以应用在生活中的方方面面：
- Dedicate yourself to your job. 在工作中奉献。
- Dedicated father: 任劳任怨的父亲
最后一个词“commit“也有奉献的意思：

03. 收获
上面说了那么多“付出”，接下来我们来说“收获”：
- Gain:收获
- Gain experience/knowledge/wisdom: 收获经验/知识/智慧
- I gained a lot. 我收获很多
接下来这个词跟“回报”比较有关系：
- Return: 回报
- ROI=Return on Investment:投资回报率
说到回报，"rewards"也很常用：

还有一个以“re”开头的词，大家应该很熟悉：

最后这个词多指在商业中的回报：
