- Last year I received so many Christmas cards that I decided I needed to send some this year. While I've managed to put a lot in the mail already, I've still got a huge stack that I haven't started. I'm just snowed under. And I don't know when or if I'll get them all written.
You are just snowed under.
- Our friends in Colorado have invited us to join them for the holidays. What could be better than a ski vacation over Christmas?! I know I can get a few days off, but my girlfriend is snowed under with appointments. Unless she can reschedule some of her clients, I can't see how we can leave town.
She was worried that she'd be snowed under by nay sayers.
