清颍东流,
愁目断、
孤帆明灭。
宦游处、
青山白浪,
万重千叠。
孤负当年林下意,
对床夜雨听萧瑟。
恨此生、
长向别离中,
添华发。
一尊酒,
黄河侧。
无限事,
从头说。
相看恍如昨,
许多年月。
衣上旧痕馀苦泪,
眉间喜气添黄色。
便与君、
池上觅残春,
花如雪。
The clear Ying River eastward flows,
Shipping sorrows here,
And away the winged geese.
Distraught and distressed,
I see green mountains and white waves,
Range after range and swell after swell.
The promise of retiring is yet to be honored;
To listen, from across our beds,
To the night rain,
In the soughing wind.
Hate myself for surviving separations
More than I would care,
Wilting white-laced hair.
A cup of wine,
By the Yellow River bank.
Events endless
One by one recounted.
We look at each other just like yesterday,
So many months, so many years.
Old stains remain on our sleeves of bitter tears;
A bliss, though,
In between our brows,
Prophesies yellow.
You and me
Seek in the pond what's left of spring,
Flowers falling like snow.
