深入解读
Cryptic 一词源自希腊语 kryptos （隐藏的），17世纪30年代经晚期拉丁语 crypticus 进入英语后也是用来表示“隐藏的、隐蔽的”。不过这个含义现在主要用在动物学中指可以在自然环境中伪装动物的颜色或斑纹，或者说动物的斑纹毛色与环境混合得很好，利于藏身，也就是“有保护色的”，比如：
