英语中, hunch 的本意是“大块、肉峰”,可以用来表示驼背者( hunchback )的驼背。西方人有一种迷信,认为驼背者与魔鬼由特殊关系,拥有神秘的预感能力,能够未卜先知。因此,在英语中, have / get a hunch 就表示“有一种预感”。
