Sophia Chua-Rubenfield, daughter of writer Amy Chua who is also known as "The Tiger Mom", has shared some study tips in a blog post. Sophia graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Philosophy in 2015. Just recently, she finished her Juris Doctor program at Yale University.
作家蔡美儿的女儿索菲亚·蔡-鲁本菲尔德（中文名：蔡思慧）近日在博客上分享了一些学习之道，蔡美儿以“虎妈”的称呼为人熟知。索菲亚2015年从哈佛大学哲学系毕业，最近她刚刚获得耶鲁大学法学博士学位。
索菲亚从小在虎妈式教育下长大，母亲强迫她尽可能地获得学业上的成功（push her to be as academically successful as possible）。在获得耶鲁法学院的法学博士学位后，索菲亚在自己的私人博客（private blog）上分享如何像哈佛学生一样学习（how to study like a Harvard student）的26条学习技巧。以下是编辑摘选的部分内容，希望能给读者一些启迪。
1. 选择自己感兴趣的课程，这样学习才不会像做苦役（slave labor）。
2. 请去上课。这样的话所有事情都会容易很多（everything will make a lot more sense that way），到头来你会发现自己其实节省了时间。
3. 用手记笔记（take notes by hand）。我不知道其中的科学奥秘，但是手写记录是让知识刻进大脑（carve the knowledge into your memory）的一种方式。
4. 每天定个小目标（do a little everyday），但不要让它占据你一整天时间。
5. 如果被朋友撞见你在玩游戏，允许他们没收你的手机（confiscate your phone）。对了，如果你觉得需要歇会儿（need a break），其实你并不需要。
6. 不要什么都读，但要理解自己所读的内容（understand everything that you read）。
7. 你不懂的东西，考试一定会考（it will definitely be on the exam）。解决方法是看教材或者上网搜索。
8. 给自己一些激励（give yourself incentive）。没啥比落入苦学的无底深渊更糟糕了，如果你知道6个小时后就能出去玩，你就有可能更快完成功课。
9. 做完所有练习题（do all the practice problems），这一点真的很虎妈（this one is totally tiger mom）。
10. 做一个聪明的读者，而不是机器人（be a smart reader, not a robot）。问问自己：作者究竟想要证明什么？他论证的逻辑脉络（the logical progression of the argument）是什么？
11. 还是和朋友有关的建议，你可以让他们听你解释一个很难的概念（explain a difficult concept），这会逼着你清楚表达你所理解的知识。
12. 掌握宏观的知识脉络。弄明白一个具体概念是你所学课程整体的哪个部分（figure out where a specific concept fits into the course as a whole）。你会学到无数个知识点，但是只有当你把知识点都串起来了，你才不会错过要点。
